To some people, myself included, Rowayton Yacht Club at Hickory Bluff is a home away from home. Even during the off season, you get that occasional spectacular day when you just have to go down to the Club. You may be the only one there, but you sit a while, gaze out at the water and look forward to another great summer. The painting "Waiting for Summer" is an attempt to capture that experience. It's a collaborative work, hopefully the first of many to come, with my friend and fellow artist, Adrienne Mierzwa.
