Many of my fondest memories involve the sea -- growing up on Long Island Sound, fishing with my father, racing sailboats in all kinds of weather. Here, I painted my father's Marshall 22 catboat, "The Kay R III", into the story of a catboat race on a late fall day with strong winds, heavy seas and reefed mainsails. It's the kind of sea story that only gets better with age!
